- Revenue = price × monthly units.
- Total variable costs = variable cost per unit × units; total costs = total variable costs + monthly fixed costs.
- Gross margin = (revenue − total variable costs) / revenue. The percentage is undefined without revenue.
- Operating result = revenue − total variable costs − monthly fixed costs; excludes taxes, interest, and depreciation.
- Break-even = fixed costs / (price − variable cost per unit), rounded up. A positive contribution per unit is required.
- Cash runway = available cash / monthly operating loss, calculated only for a loss. Startup investment is shown separately and is not subtracted again from the available reserve.
- Scenarios: units, price, and costs are multiplied by 1 + adjustment / 100. Units are rounded to the nearest whole unit. Cost adjustments apply to both variable costs per unit and fixed costs.
These calculations use your assumptions. They are not predictions, guarantees, or a complete cash-flow statement.
